“ Long time Springleaf fan so definitely had to go for Springleaf Prata's buffet, was a pretty good experience even though we were full after 4 prata. But sadly the operating hours here ends kinda early at 5pm (the manager had to turn away a group of NSF who really wanted to have prata lol) The selection of prata is limited to the basic sort, with the most exotic one being egg onion mushroom, none of the specialty prata that Springleaf is known for (Buffet is only $9.90 so we weren't expecting to have those anyway). It makes the most sense to order things like double egg prata, egg onion mushroom etc since an average person can't eat more than 4/5 prata anyway. Felt that there were more fillings in the prata here vs other outlets (the ones at springleaf and rail mall), curry was also given without the need to request it each round. We recommend ordering 2 rounds back to back first, and check how much more you can eat before going for round 3, we were super full by the 3rd prata. Want to specially mention a few things we noticed about the service that the staff and the manager? (forgot to get her name) did that we felt was a nice gesture. They started our buffet timing only when we made the first set of order (2 per person per round, 90 mins) so that we get the full 90 mins, and when the first set of prata came, immediately offered to take the next order so we don't have a long downtime between the pratas, so the next round came right as we finished the first round. Specifically told a family who came at 4pm that their closing time is at 5pm, so they wouldn't be able to enjoy the full 90 mins buffet, so they recommend the ala carte instead, but if they still want to take the buffet, they can expedite the order or something (didn't really hear her clearly). When another group of people couldn't finish the many prata (4 whole prata?) that they ordered from the buffet (wastage is $5 per 100g), the manager had no choice but to charge them, but told them that they can takeaway the leftover prata. ^ Apparently, it was 600g worth so it would've been $30 penalty but the manager decided to charge them ala carte prices for the 4 prata instead, which meant the penalty was much lesser. Overall, we felt that the service was good and food-wise, Springleaf prata never disappoints. So would recommend going for it. #springleafprataplssponsorfoodforme ”
“ Seeds cafe is located within the Rainbow Centre campus at Queenstown. It's a quaint little spot that has extensive options for both breakfast and lunch. Mains would cost you somewhere between 15 to 20 and the coffee is about 5.90 to 7.90 depending on what you get and whether it's iced. The Eggs Ben and 2six breakfast were hearty, coffee was alright. Beyond all that though, I think the aims behind the cafe are really meaningful - inclusivity, giving students of the centre a chance to build good lives and cultivating leaders among them. If you're in the area, give it a try ”
“ If you like crispy on the outside prata and soft chewy on the inside, this is the prata place for you! I frequent this quaint space to just disconnect and chill. Do take note that they close during school holidays. Note to springleaf: would be good to post on social media on the school holiday period closure. ”
“ Lovely staff, peaceful environment and the crispiest plain prata I've had amongst all of Springleaf's many outlets. Cosy place, can get crowded on weekend mornings ”
“ Heard about the soothing, peaceful ambience of this cafe and decided to check it out. In the middle of our phase 2 tightening measures so the place was deserted. Only another couple and us. We had the Japanese rice bowl where we could choose 1 protein, 2 dressings (1 for protein and 1 for salad), 4 sides and 5 green salad items. Love this bowl. The chicken was hot and tasty, the salad and sides were fresh and tasty, and the sauces blended everything well. We also had the beef kebab which was chock-a-block with ingredients. The sauce settled at base of kebab so became too much for a lactose-intolerant me. Passed to hubby to finish. Next time, I'll tell them to skip the sauce for me. Beef was a bit on the salty side for me but I don't add salt to food. Hubby thought it was fine. We finished with a junior waffle which came with 2 nuggets (nice) and a very salty cheese sausage. However there was a side of fresh salad to offset. Americano was average. The Creme Bulee latte was way too sweet for hubby's liking. We'll come again for the rice bowl, the lovely atmosphere and nice music and coffee without sugar. Nice place to chill and while the afternoon away from the stress and bustle of life. ”
“ This small cafe is situated inside the Rainbow Centre and has about 5-6 tables. The menu was extensive, which is impressive given that it is a one-man operation. As such, the waiting time may be a little longer than usual and food quality may be compromised. For example, the eggs for the benedict and gyu don tasted like they were microwaved. The beef looked great with the right redness but was quite tough when I bite into it. Coffees were good though. Staff was polite and friendly too. Prices may be on the high side but there were neither GST nor service charges. Overall, a pleasant dining experience. ”
“ Staff are polite, especially, the young staff (presumably part time) on Sundays. Serves people respectfully, despite being the sole counter service staff usually during mornings when it is especially busy. Prata is amongst the best I’ve tasted. Crispy but not burnt. Generous portions of fillings in prata. ”
